BrandBase is a personal project designed to streamline the design process by eliminating the tedious setup of color and typography styles in Figma. It was built for designers who want to focus on creativity rather than repetitive tasks, making branding workflows more efficient and intuitive.
The Challenge
Setting up brand styles in Figma—defining colors, creating tints and shades, and configuring typography styles—can be a time-consuming process, often requiring manual adjustments and repetitive work. This inefficiency slows down projects and creates inconsistencies in design systems.
My Solution
BrandBase is a Figma plugin that generates brand colors and text styles with a single click. Users can input base colors and typefaces to instantly create a structured style library, including Tailwind-compatible tints, shades, and text hierarchies. This automation not only speeds up the branding process but also ensures consistency across projects, allowing designers to start with a solid foundation and focus on delivering high-quality designs.
